About The Position

The Project Manager for Entities Data will oversee a portfolio of projects within the Entities and Classification data teams at Bloomberg. This role focuses on improving data products through effective project management, collaboration with internal and external partners, and the application of data visualization tools. The Project Manager will lead teams, manage risks, and enhance workflows to meet client needs and drive business value.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in project management and/or vendor management.
• Ability to discuss deep technical concepts and lead cross-organizational teams.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to use data for decision-making.
• Proven ability to handle priorities from multiple partners autonomously.
• Skills in problem-solving to modify and improve processes and workflows.
• Project management skills including idea generation, prioritization, and communication.
• Ability to explain technical processes to business stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a large organization with disparate sources and legacy systems.
• Experience with Agile Software Development.
• PMP certification (or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of projects within the Entities and Classification data teams.
• Use data visualization tools to communicate project stories and progress.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners to understand business needs.
• Lead project staff while identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Communicate project progress and success creatively and accessibly.
• Develop and deliver reporting and project documentation.
• Provide training and upskilling initiatives for the team.
• Conduct process analysis and engineering to improve operations.
• Use scrum/agile methodology for issue tracking and process improvement.
• Establish a center of excellence for operational analysis.
