MSA is excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager Engineering at our Duluth, MN or St. Paul, MN office. This position is on our Public Works Service line and works closely with a wide variety of municipal clients as a project manager for civil engineering projects. This position is Flex Time eligible, meaning that hours worked over 40-hours in a week are recognized with future time off opportunities. Hybrid/flexible working arrangements are also available. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required
  • 5+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required
  • PE license strongly preferred
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs required
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred
  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. We are unable to provide or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Client relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients
  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
  • Design of public works infrastructure projects
  • Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
  • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
  • Administration of construction on public works infrastructure projects
