About The Position

The main purpose of this job is to perform project management activities for the Enterprise Data & Analytics Office (EDAO) and serve as a servant leader to their project teams. The EDAO Project Manager focuses heavily on data analytics and technology projects. This position develops and maintains the plans necessary to successfully deliver the projects within the EDAO Portfolio while communicating progress to project stakeholders. To ensure successful delivery of the new solutions, systems, and data environments, this position will also assist in organizational change management activities related to the projects.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of data analysis / business intelligence tools (i.e. Business Objects, SAS, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of data environments and technology (i.e. Databricks, Teradata, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge or understanding of the following: Azure DevOps, Visio, Planview and other reporting or schedule defining tools, including best practices
  • Strong knowledge with both Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2+ years project management experience required
  • 1+ year data management, data analysis, data technology, business intelligence or related experience required

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the processes and procedures required to provide effective project management services to meet project commitments and deliverables for cross-functional teams
  • Define project vision, develop business and technical requirements / user stories, and assess resource capacity and schedule
  • Manage activities and tasks necessary to drive projects to completion and ensure project objectives are met
  • Develop project documentation in accordance with the defined project methodology, facilitate meetings, monitor risks and issues, and provide proactive communication
  • Provide clear communication on progress, feedback, and work to build relationship with Project Team, IT and Business Partners
  • Provide project management support of data and analytics projects across the enterprise
  • Navigate necessary project oversight processes for IT, Lines of Business and the Enterprise Data & Analytics Office
  • Perform other duties as assigned
