About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Director-Distribution Design, responsible for acting as liaison between the Company and customers, contractors, builders, and engineers in relation to the coordination of the construction of electrical distribution facilities. This includes managing customer interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction, overseeing the entire service delivery process, and managing related projects.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of power engineering and electric distribution system design.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a strong sense of propriety concerning confidential matters.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 0-3 or more years’ experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication with customers requesting new or additional service.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with officers, managers, fellow employees, and the general public.
  • Develop and implement customer service strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure customer requirements are met in the design phase.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure customer requirements are met in the scheduling and construction phases.
  • Collaborate with the New Service, Meter Test, and Service teams to ensure customer requirements are met in the energization phase.
  • Manage customer service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, track progress, and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Participate in the Distribution department’s assigned Duty schedule for trouble and emergencies, and restoration of power during outages.
  • Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and code of ethics as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
  • Perform other related tasks that are not included but are within the context of the duties defined.
