Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Design & Construction Team is part of our “Space” organization and is tasked with delivering beautiful and functional workspaces to position our Airfam for success. The team consists of designers and construction professionals who work collaboratively to deliver real estate projects at varying scales. The broader Space team consists of real estate transaction professionals, workplace facilities and operations, and workplace central functions. The Space team is part of the larger Employee Experience team (EX). The role of the Project Manager, Design & Construction is to lead the internal and external delivery teams responsible for Airbnb real estate construction projects, with direct accountability for project delivery and to act as the main POC interfacing directly with stakeholders. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and will require in-office work as needed based on project demands. Additionally, you may be expected to travel up to 25% of the time to project sites globally.
