About The Position

IBTS is seeking a highly qualified and experienced NON-IT Project Manager with strong experience in the construction industry to join our team to provide comprehensive oversight for current and future program(s). This position is currently a hybrid position and includes hands-on Project Management responsibilities for current programs. As a project manager, the incumbent will possess construction project management experience. RESPONSIBILITIES In serving as a Project Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring timely deliverables per client requirements; overseeing report generation and quality assurance of all report submissions; maintaining an appropriate ongoing relationship with clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, other government personnel; supervising Project Assistant. Organize and/or develop programs to support the organization’s strategic direction, creating and managing long-term goals. Setting program controls, governance, and standards. Provide strategic leadership as well as technical / operational / financial / managerial leadership for successful implementation of projects. Oversee business development initiatives; Develop and manage strategic partnerships (internal and external) to grow contract business . Develop and monitor budgets for projects and overall programs; Conduct requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring and reporting. Manage and timely submit reports and program documentation throughout the project life cycle and analyze program risks; Provide regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and Executives with reports on the progress and performance of projects. Manage a team with an array of talents and responsibilities and in different geographic locations; Ensure projects deliver specified results and meet quality expectations; Leverage industry best practices of process/procedures to achieve optimum contract performance ; Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in an engineering or architecture-related technical field preferred
  • 5 years of project management experience with management of projects ranging in size from $10K to $1M; and managing IDIQ contracts
  • Licensed Engineer, Registered Architect, or ICC Master Code Professional (MCP) required
  • PMP certification or ability to achieve within 12 months of start date
  • Proficiency in MS Project and/or Smartsheet or equivalent Project Management platforms/tools
  • Ability to meet current and/or future terms of eligibility that may require US Citizenship; ability to acquire standard government pass; and/or access requirements for Federal installations
  • Demonstrated success providing exceptional customer service with high visibility in working with clients and managing programs, representing the company with integrity, expertise, and credibility
  • Demonstrated ability and experience supporting and interfacing with senior executive stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently and/or in a team environment while demonstrating strong character and dependability; a track record of collaborating with internal team members at all levels and leading by example
  • Experience working with Team Partners and overseeing subcontractors
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management methodology and techniques, performance evaluation, and change management principles
  • Direct experience managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of varying degrees of complexity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff
