About The Position

Partner is hiring a Project Manager for our Data Center group to work as a technical resource as part of our energy consulting team. The successful candidates will manage all aspects of project work related to end-to-end project management for new data center builds, expansions, and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in data center or critical infrastructure projects required; 10+ years preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, mission critical capital projects ($50M+ preferred).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for new data center builds, expansions, and upgrades.
  • Act as the primary on-site client point of contact and overall project representative.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, including engineering, construction, network, IT, operations, vendors, and contractors (with emphasis on electrical and MEP).
  • Drive schedule performance, maintain critical path alignment, and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • Manage construction contract administration, including standard documentation and change management.
  • Project risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Monitor installation quality, ensuring adherence to construction documents, safety, quality, and other applicable standards.
  • Lead project communications, including regular status meetings and clear, concise updates to stakeholders and executives.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, commissioning readiness, and close‑out, including handover milestones.
