As a Construction Project Manager for Data Center projects. you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This is a hybrid role and will require the selected candidate to be onsite 3-4 days per week as required by the assigned client. This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial data center projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Interface directly with client to lead client MOP (Method of Procedure) process for scheduling any and all data center construction related activity.
  • May e nsure standard methodologies are followed for design and delivery of critical facility system components and equipment.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process.
  • Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Craft action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track the progress of each project and report the status and variances.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company values.
  • Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Capability to read, understand and apply standard to sophisticated documents affecting construction projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems or critical environment experience is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience with Construction management highly desired.
