About The Position

Large, aggressively growing consumer health company with a strong online presence is searching for a self-motivated, experienced Operations and Innovation Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a remote position which can be based anywhere in the USA. The Project Manager is directly responsible for organizing, managing, and planning complex projects for the organization’s research, development, operation, and product implementation efforts working closely between 3rd party contract manufacturers, service providers and in-house teams. Previous experience of working in consumer-packaged goods with multiple stakeholders is essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.
  • At least three years of related experience required.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in project management software platforms (Jira, Monday, Microsoft Project) is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent cross functional interactions and coordination across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure timely delivery of the objectives.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements
  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
  • Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance databases for multiple digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects, with an eye on overall progress
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Develop, execute, and enforce continuous process improvement of internal processes with the intent to create efficient workflow and transfer of communication.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
