About The Position

What IT Program & Project Management contributes to Cardinal Health Transformation enables the organization to drive complex and transformational programs through disciplined project/program management and change management strategies. IT Program & Project Management applies Information Technology knowledge and experience to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for complex projects within the Information Technology function. This family organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements. This job family manages project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing and staffing. IT Program & Project Management also ensures adherence to internal external quality standards and integrates vendor tasks and deliverables into project plans. Responsibilities Proven experience managing projects with MS Project Experience managing budgets, financial acumen Organizational skills, attention to detail Project Online/Server experience - PPM tool (general) strongly preferred Strong MS Office experience required (Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with Vendor relationships, SOWs Proven stakeholder management - who are the stakeholders, communication plan, structure Proven Risk/Issue management experience Proven experience managing project teams consisting of both offshore / off site resources Experience managing up to three projects simultaneously Previous experience managing / controlling project budgets between 500K - 5M Qualifications 4-8 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects May contribute to the development of policies and procedures Works on complex projects of large scope Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $127,050 Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. Requirements

4-8 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives

Responsibilities

Proven experience managing projects with MS Project
Experience managing budgets, financial acumen
