About The Position

Worcester Eisenbrandt (WEI), a leading historic restoration construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong background in construction project management, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, architectural drawings, specifications, and information processes.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects of varying sizes.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between job sites and the office.
  • Ability to pass state and federal background checks for access to secure job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire construction project lifecycle, including planning, execution, Site Supervision, and completion.
  • Develop project procedures based on a thorough review of specifications, schedules, and labor requirements.
  • Prepare project cost estimates, including labor and material take-offs, to establish project budgets.
  • Assemble work schedules and production reports based on the scope of work.
  • Manage overall project costing and budgeting.
  • Prepare and administer project schedules.
  • Prepare, process, and manage project submittals and close-out documentation.
  • Confer with and direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors to plan and execute work procedures, interpret specifications, and coordinate construction phases to prevent delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure projects progress according to plan.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, contract documents, and company standards.
  • Monitor quality of work and enforce safety regulations on job sites.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
