About The Position

You will support the successful execution of capital construction projects within the renewables and infrastructure sectors. You will report directly to the Site Manager while helping manage assigned projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and safety goals. You will collaborate with contractors, vendors, our teams, landowners, and regulatory partners to ensure project readiness and a seamless transition into construction. This is a 1‑year contract position based in Juno Beach, FL, operating in an office‑based environment with travel up to 25%. It is ideal for someone experienced in managing complex, cross‑functional workstreams and driving project performance from early development through pre‑construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field required.
  • PMP certification.
  • 6–10 years of project execution experience, including contractor/vendor coordination.
  • Background in construction or renewables.
  • 5+ years of experience managing survey contractors.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
  • Financial experience with the ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining project scope.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, especially on site or pre‑construction environments.
  • Experience with safety expectations, construction processes, and project governance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor contractor and vendor performance (productivity, schedule, quality, and safety).
  • Conduct job walk‑downs, verify constructability, and confirm work meets engineering/design requirements.
  • Review and validate contractor payment requests against scope and progress.
  • Support scope control, budget oversight, and project performance reporting.
  • Analyze Goals, financial data, and operational trends to guide decisions.
  • Develop/manage CAPEX budgets and conduct risk assessments with mitigation planning.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local officials.
  • Work with landowners, regulators, and state agencies.
  • Lead pre‑construction coordination across development, engineering, permitting, and construction teams.
  • Manage survey contractor procurement and deliverable quality.
  • Promote safety, quality, and procedural compliance expectations.
  • Partner with safety, engineering, construction, budget, analytics, and contract administration teams.
