Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager / Construction Manager to join the team in Florida. The Project Manager / Construction Manager will be embedded at a client facility in Jupiter, FL working directly with the Director of Facilities and Services leadership and Contractor Coordinators supporting WPB F&S. You and the client's vendor’s resource personnel shall work together with other vendors, engineers/architects, construction contractors, oversight agencies as applicable to F&S projects and miscellaneous consultants to provide Project Management, design, construction, engineering and commissioning of projects. This role sits within the larger Global Resilience Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or construction management preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years construction management or project management experience preferred.
  • Seasoned customer and stakeholder management skills required.
  • OSHA 30-hour construction safety training required.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Procore preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive support in facility capital planning and project management across all phases of a project.
  • Investigating and defining project requirements.
  • Assisting and coordinating conceptual planning.
  • Managing the development of final designs and construction documents.
  • Overseeing pre-construction activities.
  • Ensuring proper execution during the construction phase.
  • Facilitating the turnover, commissioning, documentation, and closeout of completed projects.
  • Providing coordination support for existing infrastructure systems to ensure seamless integration and management.
  • Accurate documentation of individual time charges, including tracking cost center or internal order numbers, work orders, individual names, job or project descriptions, dates worked, and hours charged.
  • Overseeing construction and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with the client's construction Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Security procedures.
  • Conducting daily audits, reviewing contractors' EH&S plans, and performing documented site inspections.
  • Maintaining a detailed and comprehensive project schedule, updated weekly in collaboration with construction contractors and Pratt & Whitney, which reflects both planned and actual sequences of events.
  • Coordinating fire protection systems, building design reviews, cost change order controls, and facilitating the approval process with Pratt & Whitney Facilities and Fire Department.
  • Providing detailed documentation, such as meeting minutes, weekly status reports, project schedules, shop drawing logs, RFI logs, and reviews of design drawings, specifications, and deliverables.
  • Conducting weekly status meetings, with minutes distributed within 48 hours, including action items and decisions discussed.
  • Confirming significant decisions made during conversations or interviews through written documentation.
  • Coordinating approvals for shop drawings and equipment submittals, and managing RFIs.
  • Maintaining a full-time onsite presence throughout construction and equipment installation.
  • Facilitating inspections, final occupancy approval, and reviewing “as-built” documents and planned maintenance documentation like Operation and Maintenance manuals and warranties.
  • Ensuring new equipment and systems are documented in SAP for asset tracking and maintenance processes.
  • Facilitating contractor EH&S reviews and approvals.
  • Managing contractor employee security ID processing.

  • The salary range for this position is $80,461 - $132,761.
  • Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
