About The Position
The County of Orange is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the OC Waste & Recycling (OCWR) department. This position involves managing a variety of projects related to landfill operations, renewable energy, and household hazardous waste collection. The Project Manager will be stationed at OCWR Headquarters in Santa Ana and will report to the PMO Capital Projects Administrator. Responsibilities include overseeing project phases from inception to completion, managing diverse project teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and administering contracts. The role requires a strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to lead teams effectively.
