Project Manager – Construction / Engineered Systems

DynaDome Retractable StructuresCrown Point, IN

About The Position

DynaDome is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of custom, engineered enclosure systems from post-sale handoff through installation and project closeout. This role is responsible for coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on schedule, and aligned with customer expectations. This is not a traditional GC Project Manager role — the position focuses on coordinating engineering, fabrication readiness, and installation rather than managing subcontractor trades directly. Projects typically range from $200K to $2M and are managed concurrently at various stages. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of projects, coordinating across multiple teams, and ensuring that details are addressed before they become problems in the field. Strong candidates will have experience working with drawings, coordinating project execution, and managing multiple projects at once.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active projects
  • High attention to detail and accountability
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for project support, including extended trips ranging from several days up to 4–6 weeks during active installations
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, project management, or engineered systems
  • Experience coordinating projects involving design, fabrication, and installation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings
  • Experience working with architects, general contractors, and field teams
  • Familiarity with project tracking or management systems (Zoho, Procore, or similar)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
