About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Project Manager / Estimator with deep expertise in leading workplace tenant improvement projects, landlord services, and building repositioning initiatives. This senior role combines detailed estimating and cost analysis with high-level project management to ensure interior construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations. The ideal candidate has significant commercial interiors experience, understands construction documentation, and excels at coordinating multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments.

Requirements

  • 12–15 years of commercial interiors, construction management, or related project leadership experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Proven experience estimating and managing medium to large project scopes in commercial or institutional environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and teams effectively
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software plus Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial interiors projects including workplace tenant improvements, landlord services, and building repositioning initiatives
  • Review architectural plans, specifications, and scopes of work to prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets through all phases of design and construction
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements
  • Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts, change orders, and project cost controls
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management
  • Track project financial performance and proactively resolve issues to protect margins
  • Mentor junior project staff and support team development
