About The Position

Entek is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical projects across the Pacific Northwest. This role is primarily office-based and operates out of Entek’s Vancouver, WA or Longview, WA offices, working in close partnership with Field Superintendents who oversee daily on-site execution. This position is ideal for a disciplined, accountable leader who brings clarity to complex projects and consistently delivers results aligned with Entek’s standards and values. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience managing commercial and industrial HVAC or mechanical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, contracts, and cost controls
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to lead from the office while effectively supporting field teams

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years of estimation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned projects from contract handoff through closeout
  • Establish clear project objectives, scope, schedules, and success criteria
  • Ensure alignment between estimating, operations, field execution, and leadership
  • Serve as the single point of responsibility for overall project performance
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, procurement plans, and manpower forecasts
  • Coordinate closely with Field Superintendents to support site execution and remove obstacles
  • Anticipate project needs and proactively address risks, constraints, or scope changes
  • Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and change orders
  • Monitor job cost reports and ensure projects meet or exceed margin expectations
  • Support estimating handoff and assist with pricing of change work when required
  • Uphold contract requirements and manage documentation accordingly
  • Ensure all work aligns with Entek quality standards, industry codes, and contractual obligations
  • Support safety planning and compliance in partnership with Field Superintendents
  • Drive consistency in project documentation, reporting, and internal processes
  • Act as the primary office-based point of contact for clients, engineers, and general contractors
  • Provide clear, timely updates on progress, schedule, and financial status
  • Address issues professionally, decisively, and with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership
  • Track key performance indicators and project outcomes
  • Participate in post-project reviews to improve systems, processes, and execution
