About The Position

HiTouch is a full-service company with a network of local distribution centers in the United States, providing a wide range of office productivity services in personalized and environmentally responsible ways. After joining the Staples family in 2018, HiTouch has helped us grow alternative distribution channels. We are seeking an experienced furniture Project Manager with large project, multiple (nationwide) customer location experience who is capable of working as part of a team and is extremely customer-focused. The Project Manager should fully understand deadlines and complexities, have expertise in creating project timelines, reading drawings, and possess a working knowledge of building interfaces for electrical and data. The successful candidate should know how to budget a project, allocate resources, and mitigate risk. Interaction with trades and end-user client groups is essential, along with good spoken and written communication skills and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project management and/or design and/or construction experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and architectural plans.
  • Strong project management skills and business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree desired.
  • Experience in Furniture Dealership or Furniture Manufacture.
  • CAPM or higher preferred (PMP).

Responsibilities

  • Manage large furniture projects across multiple customer locations nationwide.
  • Create and maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and furniture specification plans.
  • Allocate resources effectively and mitigate project risks.
  • Communicate effectively with trades and end-user clients.
