About The Position

As a leading general contractor established in 1941, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid to Senior Level Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN. This role is pivotal in managing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project planning, execution, and delivery, demonstrating a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on management. The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, developing detailed project plans that include scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. This position requires coordination with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. The Project Manager will also be responsible for budget management, preparing and monitoring project budgets, approving payments, and ensuring cost control measures are in place. Regular financial reports and forecasts will be provided to senior management to keep them informed of project status. In addition to budget management, the Project Manager will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to address any delays or changes in scope. Quality assurance is another critical aspect of this role, ensuring that all construction activities adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Regular site inspections and audits will be conducted to verify compliance and address any issues promptly. The Project Manager will lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and driving team performance to achieve project objectives. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, the Project Manager will maintain open communication, manage expectations, and address any concerns or issues that arise throughout the project. Risk management is also a key responsibility, requiring the identification of potential risks and the development of mitigation strategies to address unforeseen issues that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality. Finally, the Project Manager will maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, providing detailed updates to senior management and clients as needed.
