About The Position

As a member of the IT Operations team, you will join a group of project and program managers who manage multiple projects, programs and operational procedures that are used by our team. From overseeing projects and programs of increasing complexity and scope to ensuring we deliver on our commitments, you will be responsible for various tasks that are key to our successes as an IT Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project team members to develop a detailed project plan for an assigned body of work
  • Construct the Work Breakdown Structure for a project
  • Report status of plan, and track change controls, risks, and issues for that plan
  • Maintain and monitor the execution of the project plan and/or assigned action plan(s)
  • Provide inputs to Project Leadership on the financial and resourcing aspects of the plan
  • Support the Project Team in the delivery of services to the customer, internal or external, managing customer inquiries and requests as assigned
  • Identify, address, and bring issues to closure
  • Initiate internal and external communication throughout defined project process via face-to-face meetings, teleconferencing and email
  • Manage weekly project meetings and monthly status reporting – including meeting preparations, scheduling, agenda preparation, content and presenter planning, documenting, and distributing minutes and action items, scheduling any follow-up sessions, etc.
  • Assist in aligning IT Operations goals with defined business outcome
  • Support the translation of technical proposals into project deliverables
  • Assist in identifying and escalating technical roadblocks
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
