ATI is seeking a Project Manager II for our Millersburg OR facility. This is an onsite position. The Project Manager II is responsible for managing medium to large-scale projects that span multiple disciplines, often involving substantial business impact and cross-functional collaboration. This role oversees project planning, execution, and close-out, ensuring the project meets all scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.

  • Lead development and implementation of project execution plans for medium to large projects.
  • Plan and document project closure, including creating closeout reports, conducting lessons learned sessions, and ensuring project documentation is archived per organizational requirements.
  • Develop and manage project contracts, ensuring key legal terms are understood and risks are minimized.
  • Lead management of changes to project scope, including assessing impacts, creating change requests, and implementing approved changes.
  • Develop RFPs, RFIs, and scope of work documents for medium to large POs or subcontracts.
  • Manage vendor/contractor interface, ensuring performance against the scope and implementing change management when necessary.
  • Lead CAPEX estimates for the project and maintain oversight of project budget and cost forecasts.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, resource allocation, and activity durations.
  • Implement project quality plans, including corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead business risk reviews, identify project risks, and monitor mitigation strategies.
  • Lead communications with project stakeholders, providing regular project status reports and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring alignment and issue resolution.
  • Ensure safety standards are met, conduct task assignments, and complete job hazard analyses as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, ideally within technical or industrial environments, with experience managing medium to large projects across multiple disciplines.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software, cost estimation, contract management, scheduling, risk analysis, and technical writing.
