The Project Manager/Business Development Advisor at Camcode Global serves in a dual capacity, dividing time between the successful delivery of contracted services and the identification and development of new business opportunities in defense and government markets. This role reports directly to and serves as a trusted advisor to the President of Camcode Global, providing strategic insight grounded in hands-on program execution and direct customer engagement. Key objectives include ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of contracted services for domestic and international defense customers, establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Project Management Program and Plan, directing multidisciplinary project teams, identifying and supporting new business opportunities aligned with Camcode Global’s sustainment, data remediation, marking, UID, and related capabilities, and providing strategic recommendations to the President on program performance, customer trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management within defense, government, or complex technical environments.
  • Understanding of sustainment, data remediation, marking, UID, or related domains – or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to brief executives, customers, and technical teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both tactical and executive levels.
  • Intellectual curiosity, sound judgement, and a passion for delivering mission-critical outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
  • Eligibility to obtain applicable government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and oversight of services delivered under existing and future contracts.
  • Establish and maintain Project Management Programs and Project Management Plans.
  • Coordinate financial, planning, contracting, scheduling, and resource management activities.
  • Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), budgets, schedules, and risk management plans.
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional project teams to meet delivery objectives.
  • Chair progress review meetings and deliver executive briefings.
  • Prepare scheduled and unscheduled project status reports.
  • Serve as a primary interface with designated customer Technical Authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project controls, reporting procedures, and operational change processes.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities within defense and government markets.
  • Contribute to capture planning, proposal development, and solution shaping.
  • Provide execution-informed insights to proposed delivery approaches, risk mitigation strategies, and resource plans.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to align capabilities with requirements.
  • Provide strategic insight to leadership on customer trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
