Requirements

  • Client facing professional who can work with diverse stakeholders and quickly adjust to different project environments
  • Clearly communicates key project updates to internal and external stakeholders including Executive Leadership
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at time with a knack for staying organized
  • At least 2 years of experience in consulting or project management roles, and/or in the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Ability to measure the status and manage the financial standing, scope alignment and timeline of a project as defined in a contract such as a SOW or Change Order
  • Experienced power user of project management tools (e.g. Clarizen, PSA system, SmartSheet, MS Project, etc ), and related tools for communication and productivity (Slack, Google Calendar, etc).
  • Track record of defining and achieving consistent adherence to best practices across multiple teams.
  • Consistent track record of career progression, growth, and/or success navigating a fast-changing or ambiguous environments.
  • Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture. Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Nice to have - PMP certification or comparable formal training and experience in project management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Run professional projects (client facing and/or internally focused) with cross-functional teams of Box Consultants and GTM, at times across multiple regions.
  • Estimate and manage resource assignment to projects, ensuring on time, on budget deliverables from each project team.
  • Provide status reports with utilization, financial and project progress analysis on projects and activities
  • Maintain portfolio of assigned active projects within a given region
  • Consistently and effectively manage and resolve dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Identify scope and requirement changes as quickly as possible and promptly communicate project impact, and produce any necessary artifacts such as Change Orders or mitigation plans.
  • Manage project requirements and quality outputs.
  • Maintain project backlogs and provide recommendations for on-going work on strategic initiatives.
  • Be the face of the projects to BC executives and the wider BC org through multiple channels (All Hands, management meetings, email, Slack, etc)
  • Contribute to project management methodology, internal initiatives, and practice development
