About the Role Vertiv is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Large Programs team, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing complex, high-visibility projects for our Global Strategic Accounts. As the central hub connecting engineering, procurement, and operations, you'll drive project success from conception through delivery while ensuring seamless coordination across all stakeholders. What You'll Do Project Leadership & Execution Define comprehensive project scope and develop detailed execution plans in collaboration with functional leaders Lead cross-functional teams including Design Engineering, Material Procurement, BOM Specialists, AME, and Buyers Serve as the primary Vertiv point of contact with Pelzer operations and the LPL organization Drive parts release processes and ensure material availability throughout project lifecycle Communication & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with Order Management, Design Engineering, and Procurement teams throughout the project Act as the primary escalation point for potential conflicts to protect customer commitments Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Facilitate effective meetings, presentations, and regular project communications Project Monitoring & Risk Management Track and report on project KPIs, quality metrics, schedule adherence, and cost performance Document meeting notes, action items, and follow through to completion Identify project risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies Monitor critical path activities and ensure team coordination to prevent timeline slippage Escalate issues appropriately and implement both short-term and long-term solutions
