About The Position

This is a time-limited, grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of external funding. This is a 12-month position, with an end date of 9/30/26. The position coordinates the Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) and works to ensure all planning and implementation activities are completed in compliance with the grant requirements. The role involves developing and strengthening prevention, education, and awareness programs, implementing effective security and investigation strategies to combat Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (DVDVSAS) on campuses, and developing victim services in partnership with local criminal justice authorities and community-based victim services agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working on a college campus and/or in a position related to serving survivors of DVDVSAS.
  • Paid or volunteer experience working with survivors of DVDVSAS a plus.
  • Familiarity with DVDVSAS prevention and education efforts, Clery Act Compliance, Title IX, and/or campus policy and procedures related to DVDVSAS desirable.
  • Excellent communication, event planning, oral and written communication skills, and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in coordinating complex, multi-dimensional projects, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of partners.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations and implementation of the College's grant to reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking (DVDVSAS), in accordance with all grant specifications.
  • Coordinates all grant-related project activities and serves as the key point of contact for College administration, faculty, staff, students, and the CCRT on all matters related to the grant.
  • Manages the grant budget to ensure compliance with both grant and College requirements.
  • Works with College and community partners to develop and oversee the College's Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT).
  • Facilitates activities throughout the grant's life in accordance with the approved strategic plan, and follows proper channels to amend or update strategic plan in a timely fashion.
  • Works with the CCRT to review all current College policies and procedures related to DVDVSAS and makes recommendations to College leadership to improve existing policies.
  • Establishes measurable outcomes and identifies appropriate tools to track progress related to achievement.
  • Oversees required prevention education and promotes awareness of DVDVSAS for the entire campus community, including virtual and in person training for students, campus Public Safety, staff, and faculty, with specialized training for personnel involved in disciplinary activities.
  • Monitors compliance with grant requirements by gathering, submitting, and maintaining project data, including records of student completion of all mandatory prevention and education programs.
  • Some travel required (5%).
