About The Position

Renewables Project Manager Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Energy Storage team.The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects for Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role
  • Professional licensure in a technical field or ability to obtain PMP certification
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
