The Project Manager for Automated Logic - Building Automation (BAS) is responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to building automation systems. This role involves preparing project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements, ensuring project quality expectations are met, and monitoring project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specifications. The Project Manager will also be involved in communication with subcontractors and customers, managing change orders, and leading the project execution team to ensure successful project completion.

Manage projects by preparing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements.
Estimate costs, resources, and time required to complete projects.
Gather and manage data to monitor project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specifications.
Prepare and present plans and progress reports to ensure established targets are met.
Identify and escalate project problems and support resolutions for successful project completion.
Continuously monitor all cost phases of the project budget and provide monthly EAC reports.
Create working schedules in Cora or MS Project to proactively plan and protect project timelines.
Build and maintain a schedule of values that provides positive cash flow for each project.
Solicit subcontractor proposals and negotiate pricing to ensure compliance with project budgets.
Provide necessary documentation and communication to all customer levels and subcontractors.
Request change orders for any work that changes the scope or increases costs.
Ensure the project team follows the Automated Logic Operations Manual during project execution.
Mentor and assist in training new personnel and Project Managers/Engineers.

High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of Project Management experience in HVAC or Building Automation and/or Construction industry
Valid Driver's License
1+ years of experience in the Microsoft Office Suite

AA/AS Degree
3+ years of Project Management experience in HVAC, Building Automation and/or Construction industry
Ability to lead and motivate teams
Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
Ability to read and understand scope of work
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
General knowledge of employment laws and practices
Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting
Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred
