Project Manager - Architecture Studio - Chicago High Density In the birthplace of the skyscraper, modernism and the City Beautiful movement, Chicago High Density studio takes pride in advancing the discourse on design, the urban fabric of our cities, and the impact their work has on the experiences created by architecture. This studio specializes in complex urban infill sites as well as suburban development sites with a primary focus on multifamily, hospitality, and mixed use buildings in the mid to high rise typologies. Your Impact As KTGY's Project Manager is charged with bringing the project vision and story into reality. While the scale and complexity of the project may vary, the role of the project manager remains the same and embodies a combination of technical savvy, organizational skills, and design thinking to effectively, efficiently create the documents for realizing the built project. They coordinate between design teams, clients, and consultants, ensuring smooth communication and project flow, and successful execution of budgets, schedules, and quality control. Their expertise in building codes, construction methodologies, and industry standards is essential in translating design concepts into buildable structures. Collaboration Works closely with Senior Designer or Designer to ensure the project vision and story is carried through to the built result. Sets project pace and rhythm. Takes a proactive and systematic approach to QA/QC to ensure that the project deliverables meet the required quality standards. A successful project manager communicates with principals and studio leaders providing comprehensive updates on project progress, financials, and key decisions, seeking strategic input and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Care Proactively seeks to understand the unique needs, perspectives, and aspirations of all stakeholders, including clients, end-users, and the project team. Cultivates a positive team culture that inspires trust, engagement, and a shared commitment to project success. Partnership Builds client confidence in KTGY.
