Requirements

  • 5+ years of Architectural Metalworking management (this is our #1 priority).
  • 5+ years managing projects, schedules, and multi-phase look-aheads in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Fulcrum is a plus), scheduling tools, and digital timekeeping platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in custom fabrication, architectural metalwork, or high-end manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Own and update the 2-Week Look Ahead and all future-facing schedules.
  • Track milestones, procurement, fabrication sequencing, and dependencies.
  • Spot bottlenecks before anyone else sees them-and solve them confidently.
  • Deliver clear "on track / off track" updates to leadership and clients.
  • Serve as the hub between the shop, design/estimating, and office staff.
  • Provide estimators with real-time production data and scope clarifications.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, designers, and subcontractors (no surprises is a team value here).
  • Use Fulcrum ERP (and other tools) to track job health and project data.
  • Verify and approve time and cost entries in QuickBooks Time.
  • Monitor labor hours, inventory needs, change orders, and margin impacts.
  • Surface schedule risks, capacity constraints, and recommend solutions.
  • Bring one efficiency, workflow, or scheduling improvement each month.
  • Assist leadership in resource planning and workload forecasting.
  • Ensure OSHA standards and shop safety practices are upheld without compromise.
