Parsons is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Manager with the following skills sets below: Management experience associated with construction, commissioning, ORAT and closeout phases of complex landside and airside projects. Overall working knowledge of the architectural, design, engineering, and systems elements of airport and facility projects. Demonstrable establishment of collaborative relationships with stakeholders involved in planning, design, construction, testing and turn-over of airport facilities (airport, community, and regulators). Experience in constructing/renovating facilities within constraints of an operating airport is desirable. Demonstrable experience leading construction teams in delivery of large infrastructure projects. Able to provide oversight and management of the scope of work, budget and schedule for the project, including risk, safety, and change management. Serve as the principal point of contact with client with professionalism and integrity. Ensure effective and timely communication between the project team, stakeholders and owner. Willingness to work and relocate in California based on project location.

Requirements

  • Management experience associated with construction, commissioning, ORAT and closeout phases of complex landside and airside projects.
  • Overall working knowledge of the architectural, design, engineering, and systems elements of airport and facility projects.
  • Demonstrable establishment of collaborative relationships with stakeholders involved in planning, design, construction, testing and turn-over of airport facilities (airport, community, and regulators).
  • Demonstrable experience leading construction teams in delivery of large infrastructure projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related technical field.
  • 12+ years of related experience in large scale construction, with at least one major airport project.
  • Incumbent should have a technical and operations background.
  • Professional registration or certifications may be required.
  • Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aviation construction industry standard
  • Must be able to meet requirements or obtain Parsons' project management certification.
  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in constructing/renovating facilities within constraints of an operating airport is desirable.
