Job Title Project Manager - Advisor I About your role: You will join Professional Services within the Bank Solutions business at Fiserv, partnering with client and internal stakeholders to deliver predictable, consistent, and measurable project outcomes. The team drives large-scale, cross-functional implementations that enable banks and financial institutions to modernize operations and scale services. This role focuses on planning, governance, and coordination across multiple business units to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives. What you’ll do: Lead project planning, coordination, and execution for large-scale, multi-workstream engagements to achieve client and Fiserv business objectives. Build and maintain consolidated project timelines, identify dependencies, and manage impacts to maintain schedule integrity. Define and implement governance structures, roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation paths. Develop success criteria with stakeholders and actively drive delivery to those outcomes. Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting; recommend corrective actions as needed. Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure visibility throughout the lifecycle. Facilitate alignment across Fiserv business areas to support One Fiserv objectives and ensure integrated delivery. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in project and program management using PMBOK and formal project governance for large-scale, multi-workstream initiatives.
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) for cross-functional product releases.
  • 8+ years of experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Microsoft Excel for planning, scheduling, and dependency management.
  • 8+ years of experience creating project artifacts and executive presentations using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.
  • 6+ years of experience in client-facing consulting and professional services delivery across matrixed organizations.
  • 6+ years of experience managing project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial controls, including earned value and variance analysis.
  • 6+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, including core banking or payments implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience within a Professional Services department delivering client engagements.
  • Experience with payments standards or compliance (e.g., NACHA, PCI DSS) on implementation engagements.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership for complex programs.
