About The Position

The Project Manager 3 is responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of assigned projects. This role involves managing multiple related initiatives, leading special projects, and ensuring successful delivery across large, complex organizations. The Project Manager may work independently or lead cross-functional teams and operates with limited supervision, exercising significant initiative and independent judgment. PMP certification is required and must be clearly listed on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience researching, gathering, correlating, and analyzing data to solve complex business and operational problems
  • 8+ years of experience developing and delivering reports identifying technology gaps and operational inefficiencies
  • 8+ years of experience mapping business processes and identifying process improvement opportunities
  • 8+ years of experience planning and facilitating meetings and group problem-solving sessions
  • 8+ years of experience developing or contributing to: Statements of Work (SOWs) Project charters Design documentation Test plans Risk assessments Project budgets and schedules Resource plans and cost estimates
  • 8+ years of experience managing multiple projects across large organizations, including: Developing and maintaining project plans Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans
  • 8+ years of experience building and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to ensure issue resolution and removal of project obstacles
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – Required

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience developing written materials such as briefing documents, administrative reports, and executive-level PowerPoint presentations
  • 5+ years of experience summarizing and escalating issues appropriately
  • Experience preparing and presenting weekly written and verbal project status updates
  • Experience conducting regular project team meetings
  • Experience compiling and distributing project documentation, status reports, and budget updates

Responsibilities

  • Maintain coordination across multiple related projects and initiatives
  • Lead special projects as assigned by senior leadership
  • Develop and maintain project management tools, documentation, and dashboards
  • Track and maintain project data for critical and high-visibility initiatives
  • Report project progress, risks, and accomplishments to executive and senior leadership
  • Provide recommendations on project management best practices and process improvements
  • Initiate, sponsor, manage, or participate in projects to ensure successful outcomes
  • Identify and remove project barriers and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to maximize project success
  • Manage projects under limited direction with broad discretion and accountability
