About The Position

Lynch Consultants is seeking a motivated Project Management Specialist to join our team and assist the Training Lead, Compliance Lead, and Project Manager/Deputy Program Manager in managing a large-scale Commercially available Off the Shelf (COTS) implementation for a Federal Agency. This role will provide essential support in project coordination, documentation, and process improvement across multiple workstreams. Work Location and Schedule: This is a full-time role located on-site in Arlington, VA.

Requirements

  • MUST be a U.S. Citizen
  • MUST have a BA/BS degree
  • MUST have at least 3 years of work experience
  • MUST be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • MUST be located in the D.C. Metropolitan/DMV area

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge and understanding of lending, government loan programs, real estate, and appraisal processes.
  • Finance Background
  • PMP or CAPM certification
  • Prior experience supporting federal agencies in IT or COTS implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and distribute meeting minutes for internal and client meetings.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and maintain action items.
  • Organize and retain project artifacts on SharePoint or other collaboration platforms.
  • Prioritize deliverable development and maintenance.
  • Create and update key project deliverables, including Monthly Project Summaries, Risk Registers, Project Management Plans (PMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Refine Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and maintain alignment with scope and timelines.
  • Provide Process and Change Management Support.
  • Develop process maps, feature roadmaps, and assist with change management activities.
  • Support training initiatives by coordinating logistics and tracking progress.
  • Provide quality and compliance support.
  • Assist in tracking compliance-related tasks and deliverables.
  • Help ensure adherence to project governance and quality standards.
  • Utilizing Agile methodology and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).
