About The Position

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex). We are looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our team. Description: Coordinate projects with the Facilities Manager, Program Management and Contractor Representative and Sub-contractors. Work with Facilities Manager to ensure approved work orders do not exceed approved amount. Manage bench stock supplies and equipment inventory. Oversee the maintenance environmental program to include AUL/SDS’. Determine and provide labor and material cost for all cost reimbursable projects. Compile written guidance and scopes or work outlining steps and material specifications in accordance with applicable drawings, technical manuals, codes, and accepted work practices. Conduct weekly meetings with the Contract Representative. Monitor the Contractor’s construction schedules on an ongoing basis and alert the CA to conditions that may lead to delays in completion of the work. Coordinate with QA to perform pre and post inspection of all contracted projects under the scope of work. Other duties as needed and assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the planning and estimating of facility related maintenance and repairs utilizing RS means and engineered times valves, as estimating guides.
  • Must have experience with operation and repair of complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Knowledgeable in the area of work scheduling and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Must be team oriented with effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, excel and Access.
  • Must be a US Citizen, and posses a valid U.S. Passport or REAL ID.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be fluent with contracts, invoicing and determining key variables for cost and other estimates.
  • Must pass a background check, physical/drug screening.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to use ladders, bend, raise arms, stand and sit for extended periods of time.
