Project Management Specialist – India Training Services Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company BGS International Government and Defense organization is seeking an India Training Services Project Management Specialist to join the team in Jacksonville, FL or Hazelwood, MO. The selected candidate will report to the P-8 International Training Program Manager. In this role, the individual will interact primarily with Boeing Defense India (BDI) and with a wide variety of organizations and business units such as the Ministry of Defense, India, BGS Government Training Engineering (GTE), Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS), Boeing Global Sales and Marketing (GS&M), and foreign and domestic suppliers. Position Responsibilities: Identify follow-on improvements to sustain operations based on customer needs, lead the analysis of suitable hardware/capability improvements, as well as the procurement and delivery efforts in line with any applicable export controls. Respond to customer requests and lead the resolution effort to minimize the negative impact on BDI operations and training Lead the technical analysis of high failure items, recurring system issues, technical queries, obsolete items, and opportunities to mitigate them Understand program goals, both from BDI and the training programs, as well as the implementation of process improvements using a unique understanding of the India devices and the processes/applications needed to satisfy them. Such processes and applications include, but are not limited to: Bessy, NRTS, GOLD, SAP, CMPro, CAPRS, CAMVIS, Project, EVM, Procurement channels, drawing changes, sanitization procedures, and others to facilitate replacement/repair/warranty/RMA activities Serve as the primary contact for BDI to resolve day-to-day issues, efforts, and improvements Aid and direct follow-on site deliveries of new or repaired hardware, capabilities, and enhancements based on contractual obligations and customer needs Assist in the development of project plans and schedules Establish, monitor, and integrate project elements, product configuration and communications concerning change management and decisions Perform project management activities in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO-standards) Coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects Serve as a liaison between program and team, finance, planning, scheduling, and line management Use trend, variance analyses, risk assessments and mitigations, and cost and schedule baselines Perform project close-out and document lessons learned
