About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Project Management Specialist (General Project Mgmt) (Associate, Experienced, or Senior Level) to support the B-52H software portfolio and programs in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. A Project Management Specialist is responsible for independently developing, coordinating, integrating, analyzing, and maintaining integrated plans and schedules to meet program and project requirements in accordance with industry standards. This role involves conducting studies and performing various analyses, including trend, variance, and impact assessments, as well as risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints related to product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives. The specialist creates schedules, reports, and metrics, manages change activities, and regularly communicates updates throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, they work to improve project management processes and business systems, implement best practices, and direct all phases of projects or subsystems from inception through completion. Acting as the primary project contact, they establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives, assist customers in developing performance recovery plans, and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing stakeholder needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with software development lifecycle, programming processes, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Experience in project management, particularly within the aerospace or manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in project management software tools
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proven track record of managing complex projects

• Minimum of 1 year of experience presenting technical information to executive leadership
