About The Position

This is a professional position within the Quality and Accountability Division within the Agency for Persons with Disabilities. This position is responsible for carrying out the strategic vision, planning and coordination of operations and programmatic activities that lead to successful outcomes for individuals with unique abilities. This position is responsible for spending the majority of their time supervising, communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, and planning and directing employees’ work, and who have the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such action.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience providing project oversight.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Share Point) and other required computer software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and oversight of the scope development, implementation, tracking, and execution of all project’s agency wide.
  • Oversee the partnership with the CDMS Program Manager, APD Procurement and Contracts Office, and the APD Budget office to assist with the review and tracking of any deliverables and contract updates for the CDMS project.
  • Provide management and oversight of the change control log for future enhancements including but not limited to the CDMS program
  • Develop various trackers and spreadsheets at the request of the Bureau Chief for Project and Performance Management
  • Work effectively with cross-functional business units and groups with varying functional backgrounds (operational, technical, managerial, programmatic, etc).
  • Recommend strategies for process improvements including organization change management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
