About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Airframe Performance Systems (AP&S) Project Management Manager to join our Commercial Modifications & Maintenance (CM&M) team in Long Beach, CA. onsite. This position is for a First-Line Manager who will oversee the execution of AP&S projects, with responsibility for on-time performance and profit / loss. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across organizations. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 + years’ relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience in contracts and proposals
- PMP certification preferred
- Prior experience within commercial aviation AP&S
- Prior experience with project management
- Prior people management experience
Responsibilities
- Manage project management specialist for AP&S programs
- Manage employees performing business management activities in the area of Project Management
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
