About The Position

Project Management Manager leads cross functional workstreams and drives continuous improvement initiatives that enhance end to end processes, operational performance, and customer outcomes. The Manager maintains a comprehensive understanding of their assigned workstream or operational area, including industry trends, internal capabilities, technology innovations, internal & external factors (industry, state and regulatory) and uses that insight to proactively identify improvement opportunities and deliverable measurable business value. This job profile is reserved for employees taking project positions, to retain their current comp grade and STI level. Essential Functions Manages workstream planning activities including schedules, timelines and milestone deliverables Identifies, prioritizes, and leads continuous improvement initiatives using data, root cause analysis, and performance metrics Drives standardization of processes, procedures and policies that reflect industry best practices. Executes workstream deliverables on-time & on budget, and provides status updates detailing accomplishments, issues, and risks Serves as a subject-matter expert of operational knowledge Executes the strategic approach to successfully deliver project charter, scope, and business requirements Champions a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the workstream Manages process validation and use case testing strategies Serves as the operational representative including providing guidance, making decisions, managing resources and processes during go-live and post-launch workstream activities Responsible for the successful execution of business readiness strategies Ensures process changes are documented, standardized, and embedded into ongoing operations Provides feedback and coaching to workstream resources Could lead a qualified team of at least two or more full time employees and has the authority to hire, terminate, coach, develop, promote, demote and performance manage members of the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of area of expertise experience
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions based on information available
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Aptitude for attention to detail, accuracy, precision, and logic
  • Capability to efficiently perform duties under stringent deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Project Management or large-scale organizing and planning
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar)
