We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Management Liaison / Meeting and Event Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving program success by ensuring seamless project execution, financial oversight, and event coordination. This is an exciting entry level opportunity to collaborate with talented teams and contribute to the success of critical initiatives. This position is contingent upon contract award for additional support.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in hospitality, communication, public relations or related field
  • Experience with schedules, cost control systems, and work breakdown structures
  • Understanding of Risk and Opportunity Management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Drive Project Excellence: Assess project challenges and implement innovative solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals. Develop tools and mechanisms to monitor and track project progress effectively.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Program Manager by providing creative and actionable solutions to overcome project obstacles and resolve issues.
  • Financial Oversight: Review and analyze program financials, including forecasting, manpower planning, and Estimate at Complete (EAC) metrics. Provide data-driven recommendations to senior program managers to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with program objectives.
  • Event and Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate program-related meetings and events, ensuring all logistical and operational details are flawlessly executed.
  • Collaborative Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to support key program management initiatives. Take on additional assignments to drive program success.
