We are seeking an ambitious Project Management Consultant at the Associate level to join their dynamic construction division. This 12-month contract position offers hands-on experience with large-scale energy projects and the opportunity to develop foundational project management skills within a fast-paced, professional environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to launch their project management career within the critical energy infrastructure space.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, or related areas
- Fundamental understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support senior project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring construction project phases
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, schedules, and status reports
- Track project deliverables, milestones, and critical path activities
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams
- Participate in project meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items
- Help monitor project budgets and resource allocation under supervision
- Contribute to risk identification and mitigation planning processes
- Utilize project management software to update task progress and generate basic reports
