About The Position

Join a progressive role as a Project Management Consultant in Early-Stage Solar Engineering & Construction. You will work under limited direction to support system, business, and project needs. This position offers significant opportunities for career growth within the world's largest renewable construction company. This exciting opportunity is to support a major renewables utility as an Owner's Rep working in office in Juno Beach, FL with 25% site travel to project sites around the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
  • Highly organized with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Capable of working independently with limited direction.

  • Construction, energy industry, and/or solar experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned solar projects and collaborate with the Regional Lead to actively manage them through early-stage processes, including screening, diligencing, and early-stage pipeline preparation for turnover to late-stage project management.
  • Manage each assigned solar project comprehensively, ensuring delivery of technically feasible, schedule-appropriate, commercially supported, and financially viable projects.
  • Analyze technical and financial data to identify notable variables, indicators, and trends related to assigned solar projects.
  • Create, take ownership of, and actively manage the assigned solar project capital budget.
  • Support development and permitting, coordinate with subject matter experts, facilitate engineering, engage in problem resolution, and support capital budget activities through approvals.
  • Develop a viable construction plan/schedule, support negotiations and execution of commercial contracts, and investigate optimization opportunities.
  • Utilize various software applications to support project activities, manage critical data, and deliverables.
  • Communicate and interface with executive leadership with the support of the Regional Lead.
  • Perform any other tasks required by the Regional Lead to maintain overall group organization, data deliverables, team readiness, and individual project viability.
