About The Position

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Project Management Business Analyst to support our United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) client. This role will invole working at the USPS OIG office in Rosslyn, VA in a hybrid setting (4 days onsite/1 day remote).

Requirements

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, IT or any related field.
  • Senior level experience as a technical project manager, project management analyst, business analyst or related role with understanding of data projects and the project life cycle.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple projects of varying scope, size, and complexity and across development lifecycles (analysis through implementation).
  • Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile project methodologies.
  • Proven training in Business Process Modeling.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Databricks.
  • Ability to develop and run SQL or Python queries.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, collaborate with internal teams, and convey ideas and feedback.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data, feedback, and metrics to derive meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills to continuously strive to exceed client expectations by staying on top of customer support, identify and address customer issues and complaints, resolve conflicts, and find creative solutions to address pain points by creating powerful customer experience strategies.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a USPS Sensitive Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Access is advantageous.
  • Project management related certifications, such as, PMP, CAPM, PgMP, ACP, or CSM.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business strategies and models.
  • Communicate to senior management on how these strategies and models will enhance business efficiency.
  • Develop, coordinate, track, and manage projects for a variety of simultaneous initiatives of varying sizes.
  • Document and track project changes and issues through resolution and evaluate the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
  • Create monthly reports on the performance of the business.
  • Identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks within the business.
  • Maintain, test, and improve business and systems operations.
  • Support cross‐functional project teams consisting of application development, IT operations, and information security teams and act as a liaison between business and IT groups.
  • Build and maintain relationships and regularly meet with stakeholders to identify and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Identify innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate ideas and viewpoints to senior management.
  • Supervise the design of new products and evaluate how these will perform on the market.
  • Proactively respond to evolving customer needs, industry trends, and shifting business dynamics.
