About The Position

HII, Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Product Management Analyst for their Syracuse, NY Operations. This position will support the production organization in ensuring their respective program meets, or exceeds, schedule and financial objectives, and that all deliverables are fully compliant with customer technical requirements and all milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects, manage competing priorities, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to develop effective resolutions to project challenges.
  • Ability to prepare and present clear status reports, budget updates, and performance metrics.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Active Secret clearance a plus; must be eligible to obtain a US Government clearance

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration and completion of program contracts.
  • Understanding of Material Requirements, Resource and Capacity Planning, and Inventory Management.
  • Execute the procurement of material and equipment including price, availability, and delivery schedule
