About The Position

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. The NNS Model Based Engineering (E92-MBE) team is seeking a creative, talented and dynamic Project Management Analyst (PMA). As a PMA, you will help manage a broad portfolio of projects centered around digital transformation. In this role, you will be part of a diverse team that focuses on successful development and deployment of innovative technologies to create, validate, and optimize processes across multiple programs and the full ship product lifecycle value stream. The ideal candidate should have a passion for innovation including process improvement and the use of technology to improve program performance. The candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations and a wide variety tasks. The candidate should possess leadership and strong interpersonal skills necessary for collaboration and solving complex problems with various team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
