The position of Project Maintenance Technician is a hands-on position, that provides technical expertise and oversees and participates in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facility equipment to reduce downtime while increasing operational efficiency in a validated cGMP environment. This equipment includes machinery, buildings, computer systems, control systems, safety, and security systems. Additionally, this position includes responsibility for maintaining shop tools, inventory, and keeping the department's CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) updated all while adhering to Lean and 5S principles. The position must be proficient in the requirements of the Technician Maintenance and Project Technician positions and may be required to provide training to the technicians in these roles. This position will also be required to support after hours emergency response activities on an as needed basis. You will use your skill set to successfully complete projects that include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and developing new solutions that improve performance and functionality. This role requires onsite work at our Spartanburg, SC facility. Working Hours for this nightshift role are: 6:45pm - 6:45am on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The training/onboarding schedule will be M-F dayshift.
