Project Machinist Operator B - 1st shift Set up and operate machines and tools to perform any operation within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices if required. Must keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures. Must maintain a safe working environment. Must meet production requirements. Machine components require tolerance and meet quality standards. Must apply continuous improvement techniques. Insure equipment is functioning properly. Keep and maintain records and documents as required. Train less experienced machinists as required. Required Qualifications: This position is for a fully competent and qualified Machinist and Machine Operators Must have at least 1 year of experience as a machinist or machine operator and requires minimal supervision to perform the job. Knowledge of setting up and running the production machining equipment. Capable of reading and interpreting drawings. Understanding and skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspect machined parts. Must have skills, knowledge in operating manual and CNC machining equipment. Able to work 1st shift as assigned Must exhibit the skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Top Candidates: High School Diploma or equivalent. 3 or more years of experience as a machinist or machine operator Basic computer skills preferred Skills of setting up and running the production machining equipment. Ability to write, change and update programs. Skills and knowledge in operating Horizontal Boring Machine as well as Kuraki CNC Machines. Competency to read/write G code as well as FeatureCAM. Summary Pay Range: $25.48 - $38.22 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
