We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located in John Day, Oregon. What you will do: In this position, you will develop and oversee summer steelhead and Chinook salmon escapement, productivity, adult, juvenile and habitat monitoring in the John Day Basin. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating monitoring, permitting, consultation, and reporting activities with multiple collaborating agencies. Results of this monitoring will assure that salmonid conservation and restoration activities are conducted in the most effective and scientifically sound manner and that population status is assessed over time.
