Requirements

  • Must have a strong comprehension of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Must have strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Must be a hands-on project manager, willing to work in any role within the project as necessary
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or comparable experience
  • 5 plus Years’ experience in capital equipment development or construction project management

Nice To Haves

  • ISO 9000, ISO 13485 and FDA/CGMP experience a plus
  • PMP certification is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer projects from Pre-sales through installation and validation. This includes project planning, customer management, coordination of internal and external teams and resources, on-site installation management, system validation, etc
  • Work with customers to develop any project-specific technical documents as required
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop detailed project plans to track and report progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and cost
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to Management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and project management tools
  • Management of large capital equipment/construction/technology projects required
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
