Project Lead - Residential Construction
About The Position
Woodmark Homes, LLC is looking for a motivated individual to fill an entry level Project lead/Project closer. As a Bags on Project Lead, you will be responsible for the construction of small remodels, additions, and whole house remodel projects. You will work with a project manager to oversee and lead/work with the on-site crew, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure the work meets specifications, and conduct quality inspections. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential remodeling
- Strong knowledge and understanding of general remodel carpentry and techniques with a willingness to work in all phases of a remodel, from demo to finish phase.
- Work with the project manager to oversee all aspects of a construction project on site
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Able to complete a task from start to finish relatively independently
- Experience reading blueprints and scope of work
- Ability to estimate and order materials and assess needs for labor help.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must have personal tools (cordless drills/saws, nail bags, hand tools, etc.)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to carry heavy materials, and safely use ladders
- Be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Drug and alcohol-free work environment
